Ce « phare de phares », installé pendant 6 mois (automne 2015-hiver 2016) sur la place de la Concorde auprès du plus ancien monument de Paris, interagit avec le public et dialogue avec l'obélisque de Louxor, la tour Montparnasse... et la tour Eiffel. Cette œuvre de 29 m de haut est recouverte d'une vague de phares de voitures. Elle a nécessité l'intervention de 300 hommes, 5 km de métal, 7 kg de formulaires... La dorure de cette très fine résille pyramidale en aluminium s'intensifie jusqu'à se fondre dans la couleur du pyramidion originellement en électrum (alliage d'or et d'argent qui donna le mot électricité) de l'Obélisque pour souligner sa symbolique comme passage de la terre au ciel. Phares joue avec la lumière de jour (reflets du soleil sur la résille) comme de nuit (lampadaires, lune, éclairages des véhicules se confondant avec ses propres phares).
