El Discernidor

Autor: James W Goll

The Word Factory

Autor: Oscar Whinge

Número de Páginas: 2003

Unquestionably, The Word Factory is the perfect guide to better English Grammar and effortless writing. According to one newspaper report, universities in England had begun to penalise students who employed incorrect grammar in their essays. In South Africa, the analysis of seventy-four thousand short stories found that written work of children was littered with SMS language, American slang, exclamation marks, and references to celebrities. All through my formative years, I had to contend with five different languagesEnglish, Afrikaans, and two other dialects, which for the most part, accounted for my inability to translate thought into words effortlessly and inhibited my willingness to participate in lively social discussions especially in the course of my high school years. However, possessed of determination, I had vowed to overcome that infirmity. My need to succeed at all costs precipitated the memorisation of the entire Pocket Oxford Dictionary, an accomplishment that spanned ten long years, following which a further ten years were spent in acquainting myself with most English phrases, idiomatic expressions, and collecting the data and fully researching it. I decided to name ...

Le paradoxe évangélique

Autor: Collectif

Jugar Con Fuego Santo: Un Llamado de Atención a la Iglesia Pentecostal Carismát CIA / Playing with Holy Fire: A Wake-Up Call to the Pentecostal-Charismatic

Autor: Michael L. Brown

Trumpocalypse

Autor: Paul Mcguire , Troy Anderson

Número de Páginas: 327

From the authors of the international bestseller The Babylon Code comes an explosive exposé of the chilling truth about the fierce opposition to the Trump presidency, and why the globalist elite and Deep State will stop at nothing-assassination, military coup, staged economic collapse, or worse-to overthrow him. "Trumpocalypse!" It's the media-coined meme inciting panic and fear that America has elected an unstable man who will barge into delicate international affairs like a bull in a china shop and incite nations bent on America's destruction to trigger World War III-an unprecedented nuclear apocalypse ending the world as we know it. But is the media telling us the truth? No, say internationally-recognized prophecy expert and Fox News and History Channel commentator Paul McGuire and Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist Troy Anderson. America's most insidious enemies are not hostile nations; they are elite globalists-the "Establishment" that is making the "1 percent" even richer while working- and middle-class people watch their incomes and net worth's flatline or plummet. The authors fearlessly expose the globalist elite's secret plan for humanity and campaign of...

The Lifeboat Strategy

Autor: Mark Nestmann

Número de Páginas: 937

On every front, 24 hours a day, you and your wealth face threats of an intensity that would have been unimaginable only a few short years ago. A sinister marriage of law and technology has made the pervasive and continuous surveillance that George Orwell warned of a reality. Identity thieves, greedy lawyers and the government have been quick to exploit this fast-evolving global surveillance network: - Data thieves can hijack your PC with easy-to-use hacking tools that even a 10-year old can master. After stealing your log-on passwords, they can drain your bank accounts. - If someone has a grudge against you, he can learn whether you're "worth suing" with a few clicks of a mouse. Hundreds of Web sites offer asset-tracking services to find your real estate ownership records, bank account balances, and much more. - Secret government data mining programs monitor your personal and financial activities 24 hours a day for "suspicious transactions." One oversight--becoming friends on Facebook with a suspected terrorist, withdrawing too much cash, unknowingly renting property to someone with a criminal background, etc.--and you could find yourself under arrest and your assets frozen. ....

From the pages of Genesis to the New Testament gospels, Women of the Word, by author Melissa Joy Parcels, was designed for self or group study. Each chapter features three or four women of the Bible from both the Old and New Testaments. Parcels breaks down their story and choices and provides supporting scripture. She examines each woman’s life through historical knowledge and scriptural evidence along with other examples from the Bible of their individual journey. Some are the heroes of faith as described in Hebrews Chapter 11 and some simply obeyed God, and in their devotion, teach us many things to strengthen our own walks with the Lord. Each chapter concludes with discussion questions, prayer, and a devotional. They Flew

Autor: Carlos M. N. Eire

Número de Páginas: 513

An award-winning historian's examination of impossible events at the dawn of modernity and of their enduring significance Accounts of seemingly impossible phenomena abounded in the early modern era--tales of levitation, bilocation, and witchcraft--even as skepticism, atheism, and empirical science were starting to supplant religious belief in the paranormal. In this book, Carlos Eire explores how a culture increasingly devoted to scientific thinking grappled with events deemed impossible by its leading intellectuals. Eire observes how levitating saints and flying witches were as essential a component of early modern life as the religious turmoil of the age, and as much a part of history as Newton's scientific discoveries. Relying on an array of firsthand accounts, and focusing on exceptionally impossible cases involving levitation, bilocation, witchcraft, and demonic possession, Eire challenges established assumptions about the redrawing of boundaries between the natural and supernatural that marked the transition to modernity. Using as his case studies stories about St. Teresa of Avila, St. Joseph of Cupertino, the Venerable María de Ágreda, and three disgraced nuns, Eire...

God's Man in the White House

Autor: James Beverley

Número de Páginas: 286

Standing in absolute opposition to each other are two distinct groups. One side, who proclaim that he can do nothing right. The other side, who believe he has been particularly selected by God, with a host of unusual skills, for just such a time as this. Both can not be right! And so, a political, moral and spiritual battle is raging in America and around the world about President Donald J. Trump. Quite unknown by most of the general public is the fact that Christian prophets have been claiming for over a decade that Donald Trump is the chosen one, that he is God’s man for the White House for this particular hour. In this book, God’s Man in the White House, Professor James A. Beverley documents the hundreds of prophecies about Donald Trump that started over 10 years ago, and provides the political and religious context for the ongoing prophecies and controversies about the 45th president. Here is the most complete collection of over 500 prophesies and statements made by more than 100 prophets and top Christian leaders, including: Kim Clement, Mark Taylor, Lance Wallnau, Lana Vawser, Lou Engle, Jeremiah Johnson, Michael Brown, Frank Amedia, Franklin Graham, Jerry Falwell, Jr.,...

Wisdom Commentary: Luke 1?9

Autor: Barbara E. Reid, Op , Shelly Matthews

Número de Páginas: 408

Because there are more women in the Gospel of Luke than in any other gospel, feminists have given it much attention. In this commentary, Shelly Matthews and Barbara Reid show that feminist analysis demands much more than counting the number of female characters. Feminist biblical interpretation examines how the female characters function in the narrative and also scrutinizes the workings of power with respect to empire, to anti-Judaism, and to other forms of othering. Matthews and Reid draw attention to the ambiguities of the text-both the liberative possibilities and the ways that Luke upholds the patriarchal status quo-and guide readers to empowering reading strategies.

Set Free and Delivered

Autor: Sophia Ruffin

Número de Páginas: 228

Too often Christians say the sinner's prayer, only to fall back into the sin from which they were saved. Others fear the same fate as they struggle to resist old temptations and habits. We blame God, as though He didn't save us completely. When doubts come to the surface, we feel it's impossible to stay a faithful Christian. The truth is, the spiritual warfare you experience is not because you are not free. You're attacked because you are free. You are now a threat to the darkness, so the opposition increases. The enemy knows you are instrumental in spreading the gospel and in advancing God's kingdom. It is possible to stay in the light and never go back into the darkness. As the Bible says in John 8:36, "If the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed" (MEV). Sophia Ruffin uses her personal experience of overcoming homosexuality, rage, bitterness, and so much more to bring you the tools and strategies to maintain your deliverance. Put on the armor of the Lord, and develop a proactive strategy to overthrow the enemy's agenda. Set Free and Delivered features prayers, confessions, and Ruffin's inspiring testimony to prepare you for the battles that come after giving your life to...

Satan’s Counterfeit Healing

Autor: Lawrence E. Burkholder

Número de Páginas: 322

"The Christian church worldwide has been taken prisoner by Satan's counterfeit healing." This statement is based on the author's personal experience, modest exposure to the Toronto Blessing, observation of parachurch healing ministries, and extensive historical reconstructions. Satan's Counterfeit Healing presents and evaluates Satan's supernatural healing from the Paleolithic period (ca. 45000 BCE) to the contemporary church. The guiding thesis is that Satan and his demonic surrogates perform miracles which are evident as psi paranormal phenomena. These manifestations include physical and exorcistic supernatural healings. Paleolithic and Neolithic periods produced Great Mother goddess worship and healing, which have persisted ever since. These idolatries, combined with OT nature gods, were a backdrop to Jesus' true miracles. For two thousand years of church history there's been a tug-of-war between true and false healing. Mother goddess as Mariological shrine healing joined with natural and demonic magic, and esoteric energy psi. Alongside these the Holy Spirit has raised up genuine healers and their ministries. Modern healing is marked by energy counterfeits and faith healing,...

Pentecost To The Present Book Three

Autor: Jeff Oliver

Número de Páginas: 337

Without knowing the Holy Spirit's work in history, we cannot possibly understand what He is doing today, much less prepare for what He will do. In this third and final installment, the reader will learn how Charles Parham founded the modern Pentecostal baptism with speaking in tongues, how Evan Roberts gained worldwide attention through the 1904-05 Welsh revival, and how William Seymour spearheaded an international Pentecostal movement from Azusa Street in Los Angeles in 1906. The reader will learn how Pentecostalism spawned new denominations, national and international ministries, global renewal movements, and inspired innovators to take modern revivalism to a whole new level. Then when Pentecostalism penetrated American Middle-class Protestantism, many observers began speaking of a "third force" in Christianity. Meanwhile, revolutionary changes in the Catholic Church opened the door for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. Then, just as the charismatic movement was beginning to subside in America, it went global, as charismatic mega churches, Bible schools, and television networks took the message of renewal to the world. The twenty-first century has witnessed a dramatic shift in...
